Caricaturist during the evening reception
Every wedding is its own little world — full of love, nerves, laughter, hugs, and those quiet, in-between moments that mean everything.
Here’s a look at some of the real weddings I’ve been lucky enough to photograph across Leeds, York, and the Yorkshire countryside. Nothing staged, nothing overdone — just honest, beautiful memories, captured in natural light and full of feeling.
If you're planning your own day and wondering how it might look through my lens, you're in the right place.
I’m Tim — a wedding photographer based in Leeds who loves quietly capturing the authentic moments that tell your true story.
To me, authentic means more than just being real — it’s about those small, honest details and feelings that happen naturally, without posing or pressure. This page shares a little about my journey and why I’m passionate about telling your story simply and with heart.

About Tim Christian Jones — Natural, Calm, and Honest Wedding Photography from Leeds

Leeds and Yorkshire have become home — from peaceful riversides to the buzz of city streets, there’s a rhythm here that shapes how I see weddings. I’m drawn to the real — a glance, a laugh, a small moment that’s just you, captured naturally and beautifully.
I’ve loved taking pictures since I was a child. I remember photographing flowers and an apple blossom tree in my mother’s garden with a film camera. I had eight of those photos made into placemats — a little project that sparked something deep inside me. That early love for capturing everyday beauty still shapes how I work today.
My aim is to help you feel at ease. Whether we’re strolling before the wedding or I’m quietly blending into your day, I want to capture your story as it unfolds. I help people feel comfortable and confident, especially with group photos, so the experience is relaxed and enjoyable.
I’ve photographed weddings everywhere — from ancient chapels to lively city venues, wildflower gardens to cozy whisky bars. But no matter the place, it’s the people who make the day unforgettable.
Stories That Stay With Me
Along the way, I’ve photographed all kinds of weddings — some big, some tiny, each unforgettable in its own way.
There was the medieval-themed wedding back in 2004, complete with fire breathers, costumes, and guests calling “Bring on the wenches!” (to serve the food, of course). Or a windswept celebration by the sea in Brighton, full of laughter and salt air.
And one winter in Scotland, I joined a couple for their four-person wedding by the lochs — just them, two guests, and a quiet whisky tasting at Glengoyne Distillery to end the night.
These moments remind me that love comes in many shapes — and that every story deserves to be told simply, truthfully, and with heart.
